ANTON L TABONE – CHAIRMAN

Dr Anton L Tabone is co-founder of Malta Inc. and Chairman of the International Advisory Board of Directors. He is a former senior diplomat in the Foreign Services of the Government Malta having served at Malta’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York City and Consul of Malta to the Maltese citizenry in the New York Tri-State area. Dr. Tabone is an attorney by profession and specializes in Malta’s financial services and international business development.  Dr Tabone served as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Malta for 3 years between 2007 and 2010.  He presently sits on the Board of the same Chamber.

ROBERT J LAFAYETTE – DIRECTOR

Dr. Lafayette is co-founder of Malta Inc. He is a specialist in corporate and industrial development, holds a PhD from Columbia University in Applied Anthropology, and has practical business experience across a broad array of industries.  His 35+ years of experience and interests in business and corporate development focus on strategic planning, investment opportunities, management, finance, accounting, sales, marketing, and human resources.  For six years (2002- 2008) he has been a (founding) member of the Malta Listing Committee (MLC), a section of the Malta Listing Authority (MLA).   The MLC was originally responsible for writing the listing rules for all public entities in Malta and is currently responsible for maintenance of the rules and overseeing compliance of these rules by Malta’s listed entities. The MLA is similar to the UKLA and the SEC.

ROBERT D’ALESSANDRO – DIRECTOR

Dr. Robert D’Alessandro holds law degrees from the University of Malta, the (IMO) International Maritime Law Institute, and Oxford University.  He has worked with law firms in Amsterdam, Budapest and London before returning to Malta in 1998.Upon his arrival to Malta he co-founded CREDALTRUST Management which is one of Malta’s leading Fiduciary & Investment Trusteeship firms. CREDALTRUST focuses on strategic & financial services for clients with international business operations who require a corporate frame and compliance / governance to integrate diverse markets, rules and regulations, staff and accounting standards. Dr D’Alessendro is primarily responsible for client relations and structuring of multi-cultural joint ventures combining Malta’s UK based legislation and European Union status to build versatile corporate platforms and treasury operations.

GREGORY BUFITHIS – DIRECTOR

Mr. Bufithis is a U.S. attorney, a dual U.S. and Maltese national and the founder of EAM Capital Partners Ltd.   He has over 20 years of experience in commercial transactions and intellectual property.   He has coordinated the commercialization of intellectual property portfolios for international investment groups based in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and he has devised strategies for joint ventures in fulfillment, co-branding, licensing, royalty, outsourcing and marketing arrangements.   He has funded several start-ups and served as chief operating officer for each.
