IHI €25m Bond issue

International Hotel Investments plc (IHI) has announced the issue of a EUR25m 10-year bond bearing an interest rate of 6.25 per cent per annum. The bonds are redeemable in 2020 but may be redeemed earlier, as from 2017 at the issuer’s option.

Financial services sector grows by 22 per cent in 12 months

Government target €550 million worth of stocks

The government is expected to sell €550 million worth of stocks this year, the treasury announced on Wednesday.
The money raised will be used to redeem 4 Malta Government Stock (MGS), totalling €191 million which are due to mature in February, June and July.

Fitch Affirms BOV at ‘A-’, outlook stable

Fitch Ratings has affirmed Bank of Valletta’s long-term issuer default rating at ‘A-’ with a stable outlook.
